Babbacome Bay is another very special place along the English Riviera. This anchorage is completely free of charge once again and offer great holding in sand and also very good shelter from a South Westerly wind.

It's a very quiet anchorage in terms of other boats being anchored although the beaches both at Oddicombe and Babbacombe get busy during the day with tourists, and you'll likely have lots of swimmers and sea-kayakers circling your boat throughout the day.

If you're after some tranquility and quiet then there's a lovely, secluded bay called 'Crab Beach' which is a short dingy ride from the anchorage. 

It's fairly easy to get into town for supplies from this anchorage too, or if you fancy treating yourself to a nice sundowner and a fancy meal then the Cary Arms is an amazing sailing enthusiasts pub with beautiful views over the bay and lovely spot to see the day out.
