Polkerris was another completely unexpected beauty that we found ourselves taking shelter in when the wind switched round to the east.

The water was glass clear, the underwater wildlife was abundant and plentiful and there's a couple of great spots to head into for a bite to eat and a beer as you get to sit and watch the sun set. 

The water wasn't deep where we dropped the hook and we bedded into clean sand and held well during winds which hit high 20's at times. This is certainly a must see destination if you're cruising the south west coast, especially if you have children.
